MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom. My mom’s name is Emil, my mom’s name is Maribel, and my siblings are: Karol and Esteban. To support my family my mom works at a gas station.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has one bedroom and one bathroom. It is made of roof tiles and concrete. It is located in “Altos de la Florida,” a neighborhood in Soacha, Colombia. We have electricity,  but there is no waste management. Water arrives twice per week, and we have to collect  it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
