MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom, my siblings, and my grand mother. My mom’s name is Daibelyn, my siblings are Enyember, Franyelis, Enyerlin and Liana, my grandmother’s name is Floralba. To support my family my mom works for days, but it is not enough.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The roof is made of metal sheets, and the floor and walls are made of wood. It is located in “Villa Garzon”, a community in Soacha, Colombia. We have electricity but no gas. Water arrives once per week, and we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
