MY FAMILY:

I live with my parents and my three sisters. My dad’s name is Bayardo and my mom’s name is Adriana. My sisters are: Karen, Paula, and Xiomara. My dad works at a bakery.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house is located in “Guabal,” a neighborhood in southern Bogota, Colombia. We have electricity but we do not have natural gas. Water arrives once per week, and we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
