MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom, my dad, and my siblings. My mom’s name is Cecilia, my father’s name is Jose and my siblings are; Nelson and Adriana. To support my family my dad works washing cars.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is located in “Guabal,” a neighborhood located in southern Bogota, Colombia. It is made of wood and has metal sheets as a roof. We have electricity, but there is no waste management. Water arrives once per week, and we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
