MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom, and my grandmother. My mom’s name is Julieth, my grandmother’s name is Maria. To support my family my mom works washing cars.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is located in “Guabal,” a neighborhood located in southern Bogota, Colombia. It is made of concrete and has metal sheets as a roof. We have electricity, but there is no waste management. Water arrives once per week, and we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
