MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom, my stepdad, and my sister. My mom’s name is Milena, my stepfather’s name is Cristian and my sister’s name is Salome. To support my family my stepdad works as an bodyguard.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

We live in a rented house, it has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is located in “Guabal,” a neighborhood located in southern Bogota, Colombia. It is made of concrete and has metal sheets as a roof. We have electricity, but there is no waste management. Water arrives once per week, and we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is cold and the streets are unpaved.
